Hi! I am a PhD student in Film and Media Studies at the University of California, Irvine. My research examines video games and digital media technology around the themes of domesticity, labor, and kinship. Drawing on my feminist and queer studies training, I am interested in how digital media reshape cultural understandings and daily practices within the home space.

I obtained my MA in Media, Culture, and Communication (MCC) from New York University (NYU), and my BA in Cinema and Media Studies and Women's and Gender Studies from Wellesley College.

Before coming to grad school, I worked in the media industry in China, where I produced new media content for feminist and queer audiences.
